I had been taking shots as they dropped down hill to my right but swung the camera round and just took this one off to see how it looked and seem to have caught a moment..

love how the rider getting air gets attention first, but isn't in focus, then the pin-sharp rider comes into play. soopoib.

One of those off the cuff shots again, I spent the morning walking the track looking for viewpoints but wouldn't have given this a second look as it was flat and even after taking the shot it wasn't until going through them on my Mac that it became something with potential. Then cropping to a more panoramic and some tweaking sorted it. Original: [link]

Thanks, rider in the background is Billy McKenzie current MX1 Champion and playing catch up here after getting knocked down in the first turn.

This is beautiful, probably my favorite so far. The huge amount of sky and the colors (along with the subjects) make it good.
